REPORT INCIDENT

WHO WE ARE

CSIRT.UBI is the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) of the Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI). It is based in Covilhã, Portugal. The team has been formally established in May 2015, though its foundations were set up in mid 2014.

WHAT WE DO



The team leads efforts to patch vulnerable systems of the university and performs technology surveillance on the information security area. Part of our effort is dedicated to academic information security projects that fit the goal of our mission.

CSIRT.UBI results from, and its mission is accomplished via, a collaboration between the Computer Science Department and the Informatics Services of the university.

MISSION



Our mission is to improve, and contribute to, the information security state, specially to the one concerning the cyber environment of the university campus. Within the scope of this mission, we welcome the collaboration with other academic, research, industry or incident response teams.

CSIRT.UBI strives to meet quality incident response standards as defined in RFC2350 and NIST SP.800-61. CSIRT.UBI is presented in
